Ms. Belanger makes her home in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina. She
has BS degree in Medical Technology from the University of
Dayton and a Master of Arts in Management and Supervision and
Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University. She
was employed by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health
Care Organizations from 1978-1999. While at the Joint Commission
she served as a field representative in the Laboratory
Accreditation Program, Associate Director of Hospital Services (
Laboratory) and her last position was as Executive Director of
Laboratory Accreditation Services. She has many years of
experience in providing education, national speaking engagements
as well as membership on the National Committee for Clinical
Laboratory Standards, NCCLS Subcommittee on Laboratory Design.
