We
will assist your Organization in preparing for its upcoming
Joint Commission survey. Our assistance will take the form of an
organizational assessment, and will be conducted closely
following the format of the actual survey. We will include
assessment of Standards compliance in all functional areas and
will include interviews, unit and appropriate department visits,
physician credential files as well as human resource file
review, closed and open medical records review and document
review of all relevant policies and procedures. Throughout the
assessment we will consult, educate, and make suggestions
relative to compliance issues.
We provide
services that do not customarily fall within the scope of an
organizational assessment:

We
do not stop at assessing and pointing out non-compliance
issues. We work with your staff to change policies,
procedures and/or practices where needed, or if appropriate
we will make every effort to obtain a model plan or policy
and procedure for your use.

We provide an
informal organization analysis and assess any situations or
personalities that may negatively impact your survey and
make suggestions as to how to successfully deal with these
issues.

We validate
for you and your staff the really good things you are doing
in all areas and at all levels. We will motivate the staff
to move forward in a positive manner toward that important
goal of a successful accreditation survey.

We are
available to your staff in the months between your
organizational assessment and actual JCAHO survey to answer
questions via Email or fax, at no additional cost.
